TS Cross

TS Crosslapper drive can be retrofitted to any manufacturer’s crosslapper.

We supply a new floor mounted control cabinet housing all the necessary controls and amplifiers. New cables to existing motors complete with plugs to facilitate the changeover. The TS drive system is based on the latest ABB Drive Technology. Option to utilise existing motors to reduce cost of upgrade or new motors can be supplied. Simple maintenance with on-screen diagnostics.

TS Microlap

Retrofit drive to Crosslappers
The unique Microlap system provides finite control for web laying profiles on the crosslapper. The system can be fitted to any existing crosslapper.

Option to utilise existing drives or supply new AC inverter drives for the conveyor and traverse motions. The traverse speeds are adjusted automatically to achieve the desired product density (profile). Values are inputted on a graph to set the required profile. We synchronise the bottom lattice speed with the crosslapper so we have further control on the
laydown of material.

TE Feature - This feature allows the operator to alter the laydown width so the reversal occurs 10mm narrower on each side (or a preset amount) for one plait, 10mm narrower for the next plait, then back to the full width again. The actual sequence can also be preset to always ensure a flat edge is achieved.

SE Feature - This feature allows the operator to alter the laydown width so no reversals occur on top of each other on subsequent plaits. It will over feed by say 10mm, then revert back to normal laydown again, alternating between the two to achieve the desired flat edges.
